'Queen of Hearts'
This oil on linen design by Leni Kae (c) features the “Queen of Hearts”, a woman who is strong, and independent but comfortable in her femininity. In this image, the small hearts flowing in the Queen's hair also form her gown, indicating her willingness and comfort in wearing her heart and soul openly as she recognises and embraces her heart as her strength.
The green softness in the background speaks of her balance and connection with nature; the strong yet subtle forces of nature that work through her.

A Welcome Note From the Artist...
"There is a mysterious thing about objects of beauty with their unexplained power to awe and seduce. Perhaps most amazing, is their ability to touch our heart with the truth they reveal. They inspire us to see ourselves as a part of a bigger universe, and with this reframe our vision of the world. Such beauty is art, and such art is beauty.
This is what I hope to achieve with my art. To bring viewers a taste of beauty. To awaken the senses through colour and my knowledge of their astounding affects on both body and mind. And importantly, bring forth a reminder of the uniting elements of our human existence.
Each work integrates concepts of Freudian psychology and the Ancient practice of colour therapy (with its ability to trigger hormonal & subconscious response), to highlight the uniting elements of our existence - emotion, dream, and the senses.

Leni Kae donates work for Canteen Fundraiser
On 25th August Leni Kae will be donating "For This Dance" to help raise $100,000 with Canteen to continue to support, develop and empower young people with cancer. EVENT at: Art Gallery of NSW, Sat 29th Aug 6.30-11.30pm.

Leni Kae donates work for Canteen Fundraiser
On 29th August Leni Kae donated one of her most favourited artworks "The Spirit of Resurrection" to help raise $100,000 with Canteen to continue to support, develop and empower young people with cancer. An additional $5000 was raised for the charity, with the work sold at auction. (EVENT at: Art Gallery of NSW, Sat 29th Aug 6.30-11.30pm)
